About Me
I believe that we are a product of the whole of our lives. The human mind is wonderfully adapted for survival, but sometimes survival comes at the cost of happiness. My work is about understanding how your past impacts your present, making the unconscious conscious, so we can work with it.
Early relationships are incredibly important for how we see ourselves in the world and what we understand as our roles, duties, and limitations. When we understand what drives our unconscious mind, we can begin to work with it rather than against it. I'm particularly interested in the impact of early trauma, how we adapt in response, and how neurodivergence alters our experience of the world and relationships.
I trained in online counselling as part of my initial diploma, so working this way has always been central to my practice. It's not an adaptation for me – it's how I was trained to work from the start.
I maintain my professional development through regular continuing professional development (CPD) and attend regular clinical supervision to make sure I offer the best support for my clients.
